A bit of backstory. 

As a bored and nerdy small-town 16-year-old, I turned to the web to connect with other people who shared the same interests and passions as I did. There, I met some incredible individuals from various countries, many of whom are now some of my very close friends. We organized our time-zones to produce a monthly podcast that explored one of our favourite childhood series — Harry Potter — through a sometimes serious, mostly humorous chapter-by-chapter discussion, from book 1 to the very end. It took us 4 years, 71 episodes, 7 podcast hosts, heavy stacks of custom T-shirts, a team of bloggers, a trip to Brazil, a screenshot in a media studies textbook, tens of thousands of dedicated listeners, and a lot of jokes to create an experience that I now consider a sculptor of the person I am today.

I loved every moment of this project, which ultimately exposed me to the values of teamwork, show hosting skills, how to master audio-editing software, the hardships and values of media criticism, and the incredible impacts of planning and producing original creative work for an international audience.

While we now only come together to record the occasional reunion show, all recordings of The Potter Pensieve Podcast are still online here!
