‘Ronnie,’ a short documentary in four parts. Videos shot and edited by Adam van der Zwan.

Ronnie is a multimedia project involving video, text, and images. It tells the story of Ronnie Young, a member of the Yukon’s Kaska First Nation, who is reclaiming her transgender and Indigenous identity through self-care and self-acceptance. The project was co-created by Julia Moran and Shanice Pereirra, and is part of Stories North, an experiential learning course offered by Carleton University.  Read the full story HERE.
